In case of confusion with younger visitors I was writing my memories about the water filled Hebburn Quarry just yards south of Leslies Sportsfield (now Sullivan Walk Estate).

Stan is talking about Jones's Quarry & Brickyard a mile away passed the Coke Works and between Mill Lane & Wardley.
