RW Transmissions was an Engineering Company at the bottom of Prince Consort Rd which was demolished and a Housing Estate built on the land & now called 'Tyne View estate'.As usual I have added some history on the photo.
Hebburn once employed thousands of workers from all over the area including Wallsend across the river and sadly its all gone now.
Reyrolles, The Bushing Co, Pyrotyenax, Bitumastic, Whites Burners,Baker Perkins, Tube Works on the Jarrow & Hebburn border, Monkton Coke Works,Palmers, Hawthorn Leslies.
I feel sorry for our young people having to find work nowadays😞😞😞
