A piece of our history for our younger visitors

Hebburn once had its own Power Station. I'm not 100% sure why it closed but I have photos of damage done after a large explosion so I'd guess that was why it closed. As you will read on the photo I've added what happened to parts of it when the Company were going to demolish all of it.
Jessie Ives Saturday night dances started there as well as her Dancing Classes in the Large Hut at the Lane entrance.
