I was in St. Aloysius Infants from 1978 to 1981, and I do remember the railway crossing on Argyle Street still being used in around 1979. I have no idea for which shipyard though, so I was wondering if the shipyards had any use for them in 1982. The sidings may have been getting used at times up to the early 80s, maybe for other rail freight traffic though. I know that the remnants of the sidings were still there in 1984/85 as I used to walk over them to go to a friends flat in Wilson Court flats
