How sly can it get?

Driving out of Blackpool today past the tower and sticking to the 30mph speed limit, my satnav went crackers warning of speed cameras. The speed limit dropped to 20 mph so I slowed down until the 30mph popped up again. Then the alarm went off again only this time like a phone! Fast rings. The cameras are on both sides of the road so there's no escape. Dirty sly tactics every alternating lamp post! Beware if you're going to Blackpool!!

Maybe they put speed cameras up both sides of the road to stop people speeding both ways along the seafront Stan.
Nothing sly protecting pedestrians from getting run over eh.

Yes but who are you? The trams are more likely to kill someone......they can't stop at even 20mph!

Mr A Polis, I think the point that Stan was making was, although he kept to the sudden change in speed, it seems sneaky....

This is NOT about protecting pedestrians from speeding drivers, as Stan clearly wasn't..

Just another "cash-cow" for the local authority, on the pretext of protecting pedestrians...

And they make MILLIONs of £££ from speed cameras!

Agree with you Malcolm.

Has anyone been into Wales it’s a total nightmare with lots of places where you are only allowed to do 20 mph, a real nightmare, outside of schools yes but some of the places this speed limit has been introduced is crazy.
