The Western by pass at Team Valley

Went North through there yesterday. Long delay due to traffic, however there may have been an accident that was clearing up as a tow truck with a car loaded just leaving.

One the old section reached good traffic flow.

Why is it taking so long to finish that new section?

The A1(M) plenty roadworks to delay you, barriers being replace etc.

I avoid it whenever I am coming from Derbyshire to Alnwick preferring the Tunnel instead. It's only £2.25 a pop and runs well.
PS I always check traffic in advance of journeys.

I don’t like the A19 from the tunnel up to North of Gosforth. Two of the roundabouts dodgy I feel.
