It looks much better in the 1920’s than today’s version, just my opinion.

Mac Hardy mentions all the men wearing hats.
What I see when I am out and about is young lads with HOODS up even on a Summers day.
Ive seen a young couple in summer where the girl is in a blouse & walking alongside her is the boyfriend with his Hood up.
What a stupid 'craze/fashion'.

Norman, your post reminded me, a few years ago Anne Widdicome MP, was making a TV programme about the young men on housing estates in London were scaring people by always wearing hoodies. She gathered a group together and asked why they all had their hoods up. “Because up it’s raining” they answered, which as true.
