Here is another 'Britain from Above' aerial view that they kindly allow me to post, because I've helped them many times with locations.
In the early 1950s when I was 7 or 8 yrs old the derelict Copperworks & Pelaw Main Collieries Staiths was where me and my Quay area mates wandered along to. We had to pass HUDC Rubbish Tips mountains first though and they are still there today covered with soil & landscaped.
We often saw the many Foreign Colliers from places like Denmark, Poland, and even London loading up with coal there.

Interesting Norman,I had to pass Davidsons Farm everyday when going to the Bill Quay infants school.

I wonder if that solitary building directly opposite the crane at Wallsend is a house ? There doesn’t appear to be any road or paths leading up to it !

That was a building in the Brick Yard & think it had a name like the 'Puddling House or building' where clay was worked on and mixed with water & formed into bricks before going into the Kilns.
Here is a 1895 map.
In WW2 the Royal Navy used it for storing Shells and bullets for their guns.
