Are we stupid?

Other countries have rules for foreigners to come & live in their countries, BUT not here in the UK apparently.
I remember my old pal was a skilled engineer but he couldn't emigrate to a certain country unless he had a job to go to first. That is the way it is in lots of Countries but not here.

Dependants, will they mean benefits for the elderly and family allowance for children. Well we need them to help in care homes and hospitals. Every person doing a cleaning job in our main hospitals seem to be from another country, but what would we do without them. They are still trying to get people off benefits into work, but it’s not easy, it’s a different life to when we were young. We were lucky there were lots of jobs to choose from.

As Sheila said domestic staff in hospitals but also care homes generally come from overseas. Without them the NHS and care sector would grind to a halt. Pay needs to be realistic to get people off benefits. When companies are making record profits but their staff need tax credits to live means the system is broken. We need to bring the fat cats in line as at the moment we are subsidising their staff.

I agree that we do need some of these people to be Carers, Porters or whatever, we don’t need Indian, Pakistan or whatever nationality chefs, kitchen porters or whatever. If a person from overseas is granted a visa to come and work in the UK dependants should be restricted to husbands, wives and children under the age of 18, it should not be extended to grandparents, uncles, aunts that kind of thing.

The person who is granted the visa should prove that they will be earning enough to support the incoming dependents, also checks should be carried out quite regularly to ensure that if a person comes as a nurse, carer, porter and the like they continue to work in the profession that the visa was granted.

There are far too many scroungers in the UK who are claiming benefits for various ailments that are never monitored by professionals, once claiming benefits the majority seem to be able to claim for life, I am all for giving help to people who genuinely need it but malingers it’s about time they were told enough is enough.

No Norman, we are not stupid but our Government certainly is, paying millions of pounds to France whose Police stand on the beach watching Illegals sail away, Border Farce who are supposed to protect our Borders but instead meet them half way and provide free transportation to our shores, the same with the RNLI, We should be using our Royal Navy and Royal Marines to turn these boats around !

Why does the UK have an Army, a Navy & a Air Force and we aren't using them to keep the Invaders from flooding over the channel?????????.
Islamists have been filmed bragging they are taking this country over. They are even on Youtube bragging.
Islam has always fought Christianity & now we are sitting back allowing them to do it & even helping them by housing them & giving them

benefits.

Norman, because Tony Blair signed the European Convention on Human Rights, into the Uk Domestic Law. (Nothing todo with the EU) Lots of money for lawyers. That is why Mrs Blair with colleagues like minded opened the new Mastrix Chambers where anyone who thinks his human rights is not given ie an immigrant not being allowed to stay in this country can use these lawyers to fight their case, using our taxes to pay the lawyers.
