I agree that we do need some of these people to be Carers, Porters or whatever, we don’t need Indian, Pakistan or whatever nationality chefs, kitchen porters or whatever. If a person from overseas is granted a visa to come and work in the UK dependants should be restricted to husbands, wives and children under the age of 18, it should not be extended to grandparents, uncles, aunts that kind of thing.

The person who is granted the visa should prove that they will be earning enough to support the incoming dependents, also checks should be carried out quite regularly to ensure that if a person comes as a nurse, carer, porter and the like they continue to work in the profession that the visa was granted.

There are far too many scroungers in the UK who are claiming benefits for various ailments that are never monitored by professionals, once claiming benefits the majority seem to be able to claim for life, I am all for giving help to people who genuinely need it but malingers it’s about time they were told enough is enough.
