On balance, their "peaceful protests" are rarely peaceful.
Muslim dissidents are prone to violence, and yes, I am a bit rationally and learnedly prejudiced, based on empirical observation, weight of confirmation and recorded history, but I am not xenophobic. When I lived in Cleveland (the "melting pot of the nation, with 100,000 strong of every Indo-European, Mediterranean and other nationalities) for 15 years, I had friends from Latvia, Poland, Hungary, Armenia, Italy, Greece, England, Serbia, India, China and elsewhere. As Lyle Lovett says, "I love (almost) everybody", with a bit of his sentiment and seasoning. And, now I have a friend who lives in Japan.
