Wealth and Power seem to be rather addictive and seem often lead to corruption. Both our legal system and economic system seems to protect the wealthy from punishment if they do break the laws and rule, unless they are hurting other wealthy people.

I have little interest in having wealth or power, so I am not certain how I would act if I had either, though I would like to believe I would be much the same as I am now.

Being an old man brings adaption to whatever comes my way. Death is never far away and has been that way since 1993 and various health issues. But so far it has been an interesting life, with a variety of adventures.

Life is still interesting, I make sure to appreciate what I have while I have it, but I am no afraid of dying when my time comes. My doctors are instructed not to revive me if I die. I have lived beyond the average life span of men here in the United States.
