You made the claim that god had revealed himself long before man invented the written word.
When asked for evidence to prove that claim, you went to "I believe it as evidenced".
If you can't see the logical fallacy of claiming that "evidence" is your evidence, then YOU are the one who is lacking in intellectual curiosity about religion.
Here's the real answer. You said "god revealed himself before man had the written word" because it sounded good to you, without ever actually putting any thought into it whatsoever.
You believe because you believe. You "experienced results". Wonderful. Great. Good for you.
But all you have is your belief. No evidence that what you "experienced" was in any way related to a god or gods.
