Yesterday I drove about 45 minutes to a Brewery where one of my favorite bands was playing.

Long story short, I bought a pizza and a beer and swiped my Debit Card to pay for it. Added a 15% tip. I guess the total came to around $25. I didn't ask for a receipt.

Usually when I use my Debit Card the charge immediately appears on my on-line bank statement.

So here it is the next morning, and the charge hasn't appeared yet. That's unusual.

Suppose the charge never goes through?
