That just boggles my mind. Where does that kind of thinking even COME FROM?
"They're seeking asylum!"
Just because your home country sucks doesn't mean that you qualify for asylum.
"They're just looking for a better life!"
Not my problem. Do it legally. Or don't do it.
"They pick our cotton!"
They fix the laws so they can pick your cotton legally.
Illegal immigration has a SEVERE NEGATIVE IMPACT on SO MANY things. Our Public Schools. Hospitals. Law enforcement. Employment. Crime. Homelessness. Welfare programs.
"But they pick our cotton!" is NO reason to just turn a blind eye to ILLEGALITY!
