relied on way too much. Same for technology in general - it can do incredible things, such as MRIs, CATS, Ultrasounds. . . all products of advancing technology. BUT that's not to say that tech isn't over-used in general, it is. It has left us wide open to hacking and data breaches. So many have been victimized. But to expect humans to learn the lesson of looking BEFORE one leaps is probably foolhardy. Humans are by nature lazy. We want to push a button and have it done for us - not only in physical activity, but in thought. We look to governments to solve problems and pray to gods instead of accepting that we are responsible for ourselves and our actions. AI is unknown territory and we are dabbling in it before we know the consequences of our actions. But that's the human race for you. Nothing new there.
