The Anglican Church is made up of a group of mostly autonomous national churches which was headed up by the Church of England and the Archbishop of Canterbury. That all changed today.

The Church of England has pretty much abandoned her first love and now conforms to society instead of staying true to the gospel. The churches in Africa have had enough and have decided to disassociate themselves from the COE and remain faithful to the Word of God. Probably 80% of all Anglicans are from Africa. So, it is a big deal.

Our church, along with many others left Mennonite Church USA, years ago, for the same reason as MCUSA left the faith of our fathers. It was predicted that this would happen, but that didn't make it any easier. I wish our brothers and sisters in Africa well as they attempt to remain true to the gospel of Jesus Chris.
