A big flop. While there was food, there was little variety. Cabbage and turnips were plentiful. Yuck! No imported foods. No luxury items. A complete flop. Take away the profit motive and gone is personal incentive. Small wonder the Russians took to vodka. Military commissaries are okay.. otherwise no to communism.
