Reminds me of sparkling wines, and Champagne. The issue is label authenticity. The patented lab ‘diamond’ is usurping the term ‘diamond’. If I wore the fake lab bling cufflinks I would know it’s not from a diamond mine. “Those cufflinks are beautiful. Are they real diamonds. Not really, they were made in a lab”. So it comes down to personal preference. I still see it as a cheat.
