And I understand what you mean by renovations. My first real home was the first on the block laid as a school house initially. Glorious victorian, with some furniture pieces original to the home. I found when I went to move certain items, the space grew cold. Suddenly I felt like I was doing something wrong so I left the pieces be (and left them when we moved out of respect for whoever's spirit remained)
