I split time between the US and Japan these days. In Japan? No change. I feel pretty safe all the time: very little crime, and the big geopolitical threat (China) is still a ways away from blowing everything up here.

In the US? Markedly less so. If there really are Iranian sleeper cells in the US, they are unquestionably in "active" mode right now.
