People wear false teeth, false limbs, plastic surgery, makeup, silicon breast and buns, contact lenses, glass eyes, even fake genitals. The wig technology is way beyond the past derision of being good humor simply because the toupee looked fake. Wigs today are virtually undetectable. The benefit of a wig is the same as a hat. It keeps the body heats from dissipating through the scalp. Some are synthetic. Some are human hair. One must consider one’s age, too. An old man wouldn’t want thick wavered hair. Nor blond , black, red, locks. An old goat would best be served by a graying thinner hair look. A balding 40 year old could recapture some of his vain youth. A business person would be more successful visually if the noggin does not shine like the dome of St. Paul.
