Would you wear a wig if a bald headed git?

People wear false teeth, false limbs, plastic surgery, makeup, silicon breast and buns, contact lenses, glass eyes, even fake genitals. The wig technology is way beyond the past derision of being good humor simply because the toupee looked fake. Wigs today are virtually undetectable. The benefit of a wig is the same as a hat. It keeps the body heats from dissipating through the scalp. Some are synthetic. Some are human hair. One must consider one’s age, too. An old man wouldn’t want thick wavered hair. Nor blond , black, red, locks. An old goat would best be served by a graying thinner hair look. A balding 40 year old could recapture some of his vain youth. A business person would be more successful visually if the noggin does not shine like the dome of St. Paul.

I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to look your best.

Of course that does raise the question 'what is one's best?'

A soft touch of make-up, some hair extensions or coloring, etc. is fine IMO. Of course, if you look at the beautiful people of Hollywood, some of them have had entirely too much plastic surgery done - they look like plastic people, no facial expression, skin stretched too taunt, silly looking chipmunk checks and rubber lips due to over use of Botox and other methods used to 'erase' wrinkles. People of advanced age who dye their hair jet black and smear their faces with heavy make-up look like cartoon characters to me. I don't find it attractive but I guess they do. To each his own I guess.

There is, however, something to be said for having body parts that no longer work, have deteriorated, or cause pain being replaced. My husband just had the lenses of his eyes replaced due to cataracts. There is no reason for him to walk around with impaired vision if it can be improved.

Joint replacement for painful, deteriorated joints makes sense. It goes to the quality of life.

Would I wear a wig? IDK. I use to wear make-up. Yes it enhanced my looks. But I don't wear it anymore. I don't like the feel of foundation on my skin, and its time consuming to apply. And don't rub your eyes!!

I do style my hair, though don't color it. I keep my nails trimmed, but don't paint them. I am comfortable living in my own skin. Sure I would love to be young again, but the clocks can't be turned back through artificial means.

I want to add artificial muscles to augment my real muscles.

Maybe I will just add a little motor to my bicycle to help me on hills.

This day and age anyone can be any fantasy.

I wish for bigger hands. Dealing with firewood. Picking it up and stacking.

I don't mind looking old. I just want a strong young body.

hold in the heat. Also, I rather like disguises. The newer one are human hair and they won’t blow off. Nor can a date pull it off. Glue.
