How does one imagine the total absence of everything? "Will I dream?" is a question about death used in literature
and indicative of the problem. How do you conceive of the absence of consciousness.
I think that this truth accounts for the appeal of many religions, specifically those that offer a continuation of the human experience in an alternate form.
To be clear, I can't do better than anyone else in imagining that total absence.
