Its been going on since forever. The haves can afford housing, food, healthcare. The have-nots not so much. NY state has both haves and have-nots. Look at life expectancy of the different counties and compare it to the poverty stats. Like the saying goes follow the money. You'll have your answer. Red, blue, IMO they both suck.
