My view of the Bible is there is no whitewashing. It’s all there, warts and all. Included in the ‘all’ are the very highlights that have given Western Civilization 500 years of cultural dominance. Not to mention economic and military. And I should add, courtesy of the Jews. Aka St. Peter. Love it or hate it, Christianity and Judaism go together like a horse and carriage. A womb for creativity; arts, science, wealth, politics. Unfortunately decadence has taken hold.
