It was only later in Life that I realized Life insurance of all types are basically ripoffs. Had I invested the money all along in AT&T, GE, GM, HP and IBM, I would now have millions more.

Automotive insurance is also a ripoff, especially if you have multiple vehicles owned debt free which you can drive only one at a time. I have logged millions of miles in 70 years with no accident. Another fortune wasted.

Home insurance has some merit. Up until about 2990, premiums were reasonable and affordable, then they took a dramatic upturn. Home insurance is undestrandably required for mortgages and home improvement loans.
