Sports is big business, win or lose, but it’s more fun when you win. I wonder how God decides whose prayers to answer with all those teams and people praying for the win all the time…

I guess you know about the new stadium that will be built for the Chiefs on the Kansas side of KC, because the voters in Missouri said no to a tax hike to pay for it. It will probably cost around 5 billion before it’s all said and done, and is due to open for business in 5 years. So now they are planning a new baseball stadium in downtown KC MO, and lots of people not happy about that either. Not sure how that is being funded, but I don’t think they want to ask the voters or taxpayers anymore. And yeah… property taxes… another sore subject, along with data centers, funding schools, etc, etc, etc. No one likes to pay taxes, but it turns out they want the services, and they want to watch sports.
