... the Fairmont Hotel (originally Alameda Plaza, now Intercontinental) on Ward Pkwy, attended the KC ballet production of The Nutcracker Suite, and dined and shopped at the beautiful Country Club Plaza. Sorry to see Houston's Restaurant go. It started here in Nashville in 1974. Had dozens of restaurants coast to coast, most of which have closed.
