This Tesla story is an incredibly important inflection point in American history. For two decades, the Democrat Party has been mandating and subsidizing electric vehicles due to the “existential threat” of Climate Change. Now you’re having your property destroyed and your life threatened for owning the most popular EV to emerge, Tesla.

In addition, you have prominent politicians and media figures cheering on the decline in Tesla stock price due to this domestic terror campaign. They do not care that roughly half of the estimated 5,000 public pension plans have exposure to Tesla stock. Specifically:

- The California Public Employees’ Retirement System, the largest U.S. public pension, held 4.9 million Tesla shares as of late 2024
- The New York State Teachers’ Retirement System (NYSTRS) owns about 1 million shares of Tesla
- Oregon’s Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) holds $135 million in Tesla stock as of early 2025
- On the federal level, the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), which serves all federal employees - has billions of dollars of Tesla exposure

Failed VP Candidate and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was grinning as he told an audience how happy Tesla’s declining stock price made him. Minnesota’s State Pension Funds have tens of millions of dollars of Tesla exposure.

Tesla is an American company. Tesla employs 80,000+ Americans. Tesla manufactures 100% of their cars sold in American markets in America. The Democrats used your tax money to effectively force people to buy Teslas. The Democrats invested your retirement savings in Tesla. And now they’re cheering on your Tesla being destroyed and your retirement savings being incinerated. This may be the single most anti-American stunt pulled by the Democrat Party.

Elon Musk put his life on hold to help all Americans - he does not deserve this treatment, and we don’t deserve this punishment.

Help all Americans ?

Mondo, Help all Americans? You mean empower and enrich Musk. That would be sticking to the facts. Musk only does what is good for him, and never has done anything else.

Mondo, we are talking about a man who tells his employees that they should be terrified of him. Somehow, I rather doubt whatever he is doing in government will benefit the rest of the population.

Meanwhile, I rather doubt that anything I do for me will either harm, or benefit, any great number of people, though a few hundred will have their memories of a curious visit with me at my shop. Sometimes over the years, I will have three generation of some families who will have visited me.

They are doing what we elected them to do.

America is in a deep hole, and the process of digging out will be painful.

We have more government than we can afford, so some peeps got'ta go.

Education Dept has been a total failure, as has Dept of Energy.

Lots of others as we dig deeper.

We The People don't "owe" government workers a guaranteed job.

It was a mistake to give federal judges a guaranteed job.

Job tenure should be based strictly on merit and performance.

We could raise taxes instead.

Mondo, Ironically they are not there to save the taxpayers' money, but to destroy the government's ability to function at all. Also, all the information they are gathering is less than secure, with Musk and Trump both now anti-Europe and friend with Russia and China. Sorry, but ignoring the Constitution, laws and rules of government and being all too friendly with our enemies, while attacking our long time allies is actually committing treason against the United States.

Ironically you accuse me of not being patriotic but at least I have never supported getting rid of the constitution and destroying a functioning government. We are cutting ourselves off from the world economics, losing eighty years of world leadership and trust that may never again be recovered. Hate ro remind you that the world will not need us and soon will be in the state of England today. Without exception civiliations always collaspe.

I don't think you understand $36 Trillion and rapidly rising national debt. Maybe you don't care. You have gotten a free ride and won't have to pay a dime of it back. It will be the next several generations' problem, right?

Mondo, Again breaking the law, not following the Constitution is still treason as Trump promised to protect and follow the Constitution. Nothing that Musk is doing is legal. We could save four trillion dollars just by not extending the tax breaks for the ultra wealthy. Also, Trump has already out spent Biden over the same period of his administration. They will screw up almost everyone including most of the rich as well.

For all of your talk, you are ignoring most everything that they are changing .
