14th Amendment "Due Process Clause":

"No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

Argument:

14th Amendment "Due Process Clause" applies only to US Citizens, not to illegal aliens.

Premises:

1. Illegal aliens are not "citizens of the United States".

2. Deportation of illegal aliens does not deprive them of "life, liberty or property", therefore they are not entitled to "due process".

3. Illegal aliens are not "within the jurisdiction" of the United States because they are not citizens ... they are criminals who illegally crossed our border.

4. Illegal aliens have no "rights" afforded by the Constitution, including the right to assemble and protest.

Sane arguments to the contrary are invited. Insults will be ignored.

I will let you try to figure out why. Try hard. Prove you are somewhat intelligent. I will let you know if you get it right.

In addition, in 1866 there wasn't such an animal as an Illegal Immigrant.

The laws of the time didn't regulate who came into the country. There were no Immigration Laws, so to speak.

The laws just dealt with how a person who was here could become a U.S. citizen. How they could become naturalized.

That's changed since then, of course.

Now, if you come here in violation of U.S. Immigration Laws, you are here ILLEGALLY.

I would argue that when the 14th Amendment talks about "persons", it was never intended to apply to people who came into this country by intentionally breaking our laws.

But we did know what a "person" was, didn't we?

The clause in the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution provides:

No person shall ... be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.

Deporting illegals does not deprive them of life, liberty, or property.

Illegals have no rights under The US Constitution.
No need to wait for a lengthy hearing. Grab them and kick their butts out of the country as fast as they came in.

Some non-citizens are here legally.

Tourists and people with a work visa are here legally.

I'm not a legal expert. I would rather talk about what seems fair.

For the ones here legally, they can stay under the provisions they were given upon entry, but ...

They must go when their stay ends.

But for those who've jumped the border, abused our system financially from so called "sanctuary cities", and hampered legal citizens from obtaining financial, medical, and material helps... We'll..fair just doesn't add up

while the aspiration for fairness is valuable, relying on it as a universal and absolute argument can lead to oversimplification, neglect of nuance, and potentially undesirable outcomes. One our current administration is actually vying for, and it's opposers not. It's not a stretch to determine who these crazy actors are either.
