The court ordered the goverment to send out snap benefits but someone in the highest position put a hold on it

Fortunately, In Colorado, School Children Are Fed

the money is there. It's allocated and approved. It has been used before during a shutdown including by he-who-will-not-be-named.

People don't understand that SNAP is part of a larger picture. For example, my electric bill doubled since this summer because of an approved rate hike. Did SSI increase enough to cover that? Hell no. Did SNAP? Hell, no.

Some are drowning in medical bills and feel like they might have been better off dead. SNAP puts some food on the table, a small relief in the darkness.

Feeding the barnyard chickens. Now it’s time to pluck the feathers. Moving the industrial base to China. And the giant sucking sound of screwing over the middle class. Ross Perot was right. All the money went into the “Amazon” feed lots. Gutted Main Street. Have we yet reached the lowest common denominator?

But with every theft the greater collapse is at hand. Think ‘critical mass’.
