Is 31/Atlas the return of Jesus Christ?

I hope so. It’s not a comet. What’s it? Signs in the heavens at the End Times.

No this is not the second coming of JC.

JC was Jimmy Carter. 31/Atlas just might skip your house this Christmas. It’s inbound. Ask Professor Loeb. He does not believe it’s a comet. And many bright bulbs say it’s an artificial space ship. Lots of eyes are on this interstellar curiosity.

His name wasn't even Jesus Christ. Christ is a title, not a name. His name was more likely Yeshua or Yehoshua. No matter - JC are merely initials, nothing more.

I do hope that 31/Atlas skips my house. As a matter of fact I hope it by-passes Earth completely. It probably will.

Aliens? If they do exist then they are intelligent enough to have found a way to cross the vastness of the space, assuming they are flying along in a craft of some sort and are not microbes hitch-hiking on a comet or some such object. And if they are that intelligent, they should be intelligent enough to figure out that it's best to avoid humans.

The second coming of JC? Not likely. Dead is a rather permanent state of affairs.

I am not worried. Life will go on here on Earth just as it always has. 31/Atlas will fly by and continue on its way.

And Loeb? He will continue along just as he has been doing.

Well, this one is worth watching.

Very unusual characteristics. Does not behave like the classic comet.

But I am not worried.

At this stage of my life it is difficult to get me worried about some things. Yes, my world views/beliefs have something to do with it. However I can remember hearing warnings of the seconding coming of Christ, warnings of judgement coming, warnings of the end of the world coming, etc. ever since childhood. . . and yet they never came to be. Experience counts for a lot.

The downfall of humans, if it comes to be, will be at our own hands. If we survive, it will be because of our own efforts and not because some deity came to save us.

We will be our own saviors, or our own executioners. Time will tell.

We are certainly not the only body in the universe. Comets are a good reminder of that, and they are wonderful to watch.

Could one hit us, yep. Geology shows that. Can we do anything about it? Uncertain.

IMO when it's my time, it's my time.
