Scott Adams, creator of Dilbert is considering "converting" to Christianity

Scott, is dying of terminal cancer and is considering converting to Christianity from his Atheism.

Not really sure what he means by "converting" to Christianity. He says he likes the idea of waking up in heaven after he dies as a result of living a "good life". And he figures he really has nothing to lose. If it doesn't work out, then he wouldn't be any worse of than if he remained an athiest.

While I don't think he has it down yet, and I don't understand why he is waiting, I hope that he does find what he is looking for in Jesus Christ.

I liked the cartoon that he wrote. Lots of weird characters, Dogbert and Dilbert's boss with the weird hair were my favorites.

I guess we still have "Rubes"

Hopefully, he found Jesus and that it just wasn't for the fire insurance.

He knows surely now...

Only God ...

The paralyzed man lowered through the roof by his friends never said a word to Jesus... didn't ask anything of him.
Jesus told him he was forgiven and to pick up his mat and go home. His friend's faith was enough it appears although Jesus knew the man's heart I'm sure
An odd point is those in the crowd who thot Jesus had no right to do that also missed the grace the paralyzed man received.
They saw the miracle with their own eyes and were against Jesus for doing it.
I don't wonder why Jesus wept in the garden, I wonder why anyone would turn him away

I am VERY SORRY to read that. He will be missed.

I read that too and I believe God only knows .. is it ever too late to find Jesus is our Savior?

We're used to seeing changed lives as evidence.".I once was this but now I'm that" statements, baptisms, etc... but you've heard the saying going to the garage doesn't make you a mechanic..

Consider the faith of friends that lowered the paralytic through the roof while Jesus was in a house in Capernaum teaching the crowded place. He never asked him anything, just saw the faith of his friends and told him to get up from his mat and go home. Another place he told the man his sins were forgiven.

While this was amazing in and of itself...there were still doubters in the crowd saying how could he do this..and he doesn't have that kind of authority..
And the take on that, from my perspective, is they plainly missed the grace Jesus was extending they could have reached for themselves.

So, will God accept his change of mind, maybe heart,and extend that same mercy and grace he freely gives to those who ask?

I hope so.
