Big doings at the Supreme Court today

The court will decide whether guys can play on girls teams in school. Odd, that it needs to go to the highest court in the land.

I think it could easily go either way.

It seems obvious. Female sports should only be for females.

When I see YouTube videos on this topic, almost all the comments agree biological males should not be allowed in female sports.

It doesn't even seem controversial. Most normal Americans agree on this topic.

Somehow the sane reasonable people have let the unreasonable extremists make crazy rules for the rest of us.

Each sport generally has a separate governing body that makes it's own rules and categories.

In swimming, there are separate age groups. Usually they have: 8 & under, 9 & 10, 11 & 12, 13 & 14, 15 & over.

Special Olympics: "for children and adults with intellectual disabilities"

Paralympics for athletes with a range of physical disabilities

Sports could make a new transgender category if they want to.

I suspect that for many locales and many sports, there just wouldn't be enough entrants to support a trans-specific class/competition.
