If a leftwing commentator rhapsodized poetic about savoring the experience of watching someone lose a limb and bleed out slowly -- they would universally be shamed and scorned. Megyn Kelly gets hardly any response.

I honestly believe this principle of disdain for empathy / compassion is a phenomenon mostly on the right. (exceptions of course)
