Cameron Trading Post on the east side

Middle of nowhere on the Navajo reservation but only 20-25 minutes from the park, and gives you the option of exploring either the South or North rim. It’s cheap, but very clean and has a decent restaurant and gift shop. Perfect place to stay if you just want to spend a full day or two focused only on the park. The hotels in the village are expensive and Williams is a tourist trap with really really run down and shitty chain hotels. Flagstaff is awesome too, but if you want a full day or two centered on the park (or to see the sunrise or sunset) Cameron Trading Post is perfect. Previous Message We’re flying into Vegas 5/23. we have 4 days. we haven’t booked lodging so we’re open to the west or south areas. Which one would the deuce do? Specific lodging, activities and restaurants recommendations are appreciated.
