I was in the end zone for that game: suffering through a rainstorm too. Trust me, those garbage bag "ponchos" don't work very well at all. And if you're with a young lady... well, when she wants to leave, you do too.



Also a memory: Illini-Pitt, 1982 (had to look it up). Pitt DT just rumblin, stumblin, bumblin, down the field with an INT: one hand under the ball, other hand on top. And we couldn't do a dam thing about it. This writer says "wheezed": I'd say that was quite generous.
