Previous Message Looks like a Mako as the fixtures say Stryker and the arrays say Mako. The Mako robot is for precision cutting of the tibia and femur for improved alignment of the implants for better outcomes. The surgeon still places the implants. Previous Message Previous Message I believe those arrays mounted to the femur and tibia are navigation for the robotic saw. Previous Message Been awhile, but I used to watch and photograph quite a few total knee and a few total hip procedures my boss performed. As a observer in the OR, the first one was an experience. Be glad you were knocked out for it all. Good luck with your rehab. Hopefully you'll be feeling much better soon. From the looks of that x-ray and first surgery pic you should feel much better after all the tissues heal up. Previous Message
