Yeah—delegate and let them figure stuff out
Nobody in a larger company or organization is indispensable. People quit and get fired all the time and places do just fine without them.  Previous Message and let them know I'm not available and they just have to figure out how to get shit done. Always seems to work out. So far.  Previous Message So... vacation is fun, but going back is doubly hard because timelines and deadlines don't give a fuck if you had fun with your family.
