Very likely they are having too many sports related injuries while deployed
I did not allow sports for 4-5 days until my unit got through our medical exams at our mobilization. I had a torn ACL, torn pectoral, blown out Achilles, badly broken finger requiring surgery, and a sports hernia requiring surgery that all required full evacuation through Germany back home. That was 1% of my unit. There were also quite a few that did not require evac, but were dinged up and less than 100%. I did not ban sports during our deployment, but you will take casualties due to it. This brigade may be going through a uniquely bad spell of injury luck. . Previous Message No sports?
