but I would bulk up matt bailey to play LB next year. I know the coaches and the beat love to talk him up at safety as a sydney brown lite, but I just don't see it. he doesn't have the speed or agility to play in that much space, but he is tough, smart, and strong, and his athleticism would play much better in that position. and I think it's better for his long term NFL chances as well. he's not going to be an NFL safety, so he might as well begin the transition now. jamien sherwood, the jets starting MLB, is a converted college safety, so there is some precedent here for the right profile, and I think bailey may fit that profile pretty well.
