- Recommend getting multiple day transit pass
- like ATL said Schwartz Deli is worth it. Get the Smoked Meat sandwich and some pickles with the Black Cherry soda. Don’t bother with any other option
- Brasserie Dieu du Ciel! - great Brewery.
- for bagels, Fairmont is more of a bag of bagels place as opposed to single bagel ready to eat with a spread. St-Viateur is more of a cafe, get a bagel toasted or a sandwich.
- Saint Paul street in old town is shopping area
- China Town had a bunch of good food. Harmonie and Coco are good pastery shops. Nouilles de Lan Zhou (Noodles). Sans Soleil Bar (Sushi)
- we really enjoyed Liverpool House (sister restaurant to Joe Beef)
- The Fine Art Museum was very good
- 2 really good sandwich shops: Mono (by art museum) and Ciccio's (Old Montreal)
- Jean Talet market
- neighborhoods: Le Plateau-Mont-Royal & Villeray
- Café Olimpico - coffee
- La Banquise - poutine. Supposed to be good, didn’t make it there
