It's been 20 years since I bought an engagement ring
It was just top of mind for me when the subject of things that cost an absurd amount and have societal pressure associated with them. I think the market share for lab grown vs. mined is pretty much 50/50 right now. I know it's blasphemous to criticize anything about Travis and Taylor, but that's one of the most tacky and gaudy engagement rings I have ever seen.  Previous Message
2) These lab diamonds nowadays seem comically large and downright boastful compared to the good old blood diamonds we gave 25+ years ago. Edit: Have seen the lab grown rocks being worn by my sister-in-law, niece, and their friends who have been engaged and/or married in the past couple of years.
