they all grew up dodgers fans because their grandfather owned them and still are. they don’t give two shits about the team unlike Peter who who was an impossibly great owner. Only hope is his widow can put an offer together. She cares. They don’t.

...vis a vis market size. I know SD is a big city by itself, but the SD area is more or less STL MSA in size.
That said, I wish STL ownership spent like that... it was nice to see a franchise stretch its capabilities to compete.
Also, Petco is a fucking terrific ballpark.
