I would just do the ruins in Tulum. You can combine it with snorkeling with the sea turtles, which
might be more enticing for the rest of the fam.  Previous Message is it worth it? We are heading down to Cancun next week, and I've always wanted to take a day trip there. It would just be me, as the family doesn't really have any interest.
