Auburn, Florida, UCLA, Arkansas all just hiring the G5 coaches whose teams had the best record this season.
Just like Florida did with Napier and FSU did with Norvell. Or VaTech with Fuentes. Or Auburn with Harsin. Or Texas with Herman. Or Tennessee with Butch Jones.
Go find the next stud coach that is an OC/DC somewhere, give someone like Dan Mullen another run at it - take a chance on something. G5 performance is such a crapshoot and often just depends on if you lucked into a great QB or not. And the Tulane and JMU guys didn’t even build their programs. Previous Message

UCLA is expected to hire JMU coach Bob Chesney, source confirms to NBC Sports. Been trending this way for awhile, and the expectation is that Chesney would coach JMU if the Dukes make the CFP.
