a lot of this stuff is backwards looking (survivorship bias) and is impossible to quantify. i would argue after 5 months of high intensity football, no one on the team is going to get a lot out of another 15 practices. it certainly not a cure for what ails us.
despite the 15 extra practices last year, our record was worse this year. how much did it help?

All the attention was on the younger players who haven't seen the field yet. I'd think there's value in that.
