when you're running end stage Zook, Year 3 Beckman or Year 4 Lovie out there, you're going to say whatever you can to stay a believer. but none of it matters if your coach is dum dum that can't organize the program, which is why you're eating shit at 5-6 in the B1G West in the first place.

the extra practices aren't going to save you from Lovie Smith being a dreadful college football coach.

making the bowl is a big deal, having recruits visit during the practices in say 2010 when there was one signing day in February was an advantage vs not being in a bowl, but there's no correlation between those extra practices and the team being better the next year.

i'm just tired of that nonsense for today. no one is getting better enough in the next 15 practices for it to matter. i don't care what the coaches say about it. it's not real.
