There’s people out there who think they are intentionally rolling Caleb left a lot because throwing across his body is forcing him to keep his mechanics sound. But even if that’s the case, that’s a tough throw to make even if Kmet was open for a second - and required your young QB that has struggled with processing to make the split second correct decision.
Maybe the first option on the play was to hope Swift was left uncovered or that a clear run lane was there for Caleb, which would be a higher % play call in that spot. Butif Kmet wasn’t the first read then it’s even less likely that Caleb would have been able to pull the trigger on that throw before the window closed.
